My career involves working in and with government, private enterprise and the not-for-profit sectors. I’ve worked closely with public organizations to find creative and innovative ways to be more effective and be more efficient. For government and public organizations, this can translate to implementing more effective methods to collaborate internally, across departments, and externally with constituents, members and stakeholders. Today’s successful solutions must utilize a combination of proven, conventional processes and new communication technologies. My work in private sector has been helping businesses gain or expand their foothold in the government and non-profit communities.
I have a strong foundation in public administration and affairs, citizen engagement, and government-citizen communication processes. Coupled with my knowledge, experience and vision for Web 2.0 and social media in the public sector, I offer a unique skill set to agencies and organizations to successfully advance the adoption of these collaborative technologies and their strategies either incrementally or at the enterprise level.
